Defensive Level 2 Pistol Course

Intermediate level instruction for defensive shooting


Service Description

The Defensive level 2 Pistol course elevates our students to the next level of training. With a dedicated time slot geared towards performance shooting, our students can prepare for the demands in this course. Students will shoot on the move, from the kneeling position, from the ground, and will be held to a high standard of fundamentals. Using specific performance based targets and drills allows the instructors to give students the tools to excel. At the end of the day students will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities with a scenario based practical application. Instructors discuss the concepts behind cover and concealment, moving around corners, the effects of stress and how to use baseline performance to find growth. Be ready to push your limits and increase your standards! • Duration: 9am - 5pm, 8 hours • Location: California Tactical Academy 6700 Holser Canyon Road, Piru CA • Course Tuition: $250 • Course participant limit: 12 students max What to bring: • Clean and Functioning Semiautomatic Pistol • 3 magazines minimum (5 magazines recommended) • Outside the waistband (OWB) holster • Rigid shooters belt or Duty style range belt • 250 rounds of range ammo • Eye and ear protection (personal protective equipment is available to rent or purchase) • Range attire: Jeans or tactical pants, comfortable shirt, hat recommended, no slip footwear, body armor may be worn. • Snacks and water • An Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) and tourniquet recommended • ID and a method of payment for range or other items

Any refunds will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Refunds are only available if requested 48-hours prior to the scheduled course start time. No refunds within the 48-hours. To reschedule, please contact us 48-hours prior to the scheduled course start time. A credit will be given and applied to a later date (must be used within 90 days, or the next course available).
